League Information

The PYB recreation program is the original founding program of the league. It is made up of 4 distinct divisions: The Class A Division, which consists of kids in grades 1 & 2, the Class AA Division, which consists of kids in grades 3 & 4, the Class AAA Division, which are the kids in grades 5 & 6, and the Major Division, which are the 7th and 8th graders. Both boys and girls are welcome to play.

All teams, regardless of division play approximately 11-12 games with most games on weeknights. The basic rules of baseball (3 strikes, 3 outs, 4 bases, etc...) are applicable across all divisions. All divisions use a continuous batting order, and players are not allowed to sit out more than 1 inning defensively, except for disciplinary reasons. The PYB Program is meant to be fun and educational!
